I have been involved in the Jack Russell Terrier world for the past 30 years. It happened quite by accident when I fell in love with a little tan and white dog, with no idea what I was getting into. His name was Brady, and he proceeded to teach me what it meant to be owned by a Jack Russell Terrier.
Despite my lack of awareness at the time, everything about the Jack Russell enchanted me, from him "going to ground" on walks, and hearing him bark underground, to him cornering and working a badger in a granary. This led me to research the breed, which brought me in contact with a wonderful Veterinarian and Breeder, Sandra Barnett (Brockwood Terriers) from whom I acquired my first Jack Russell terrier for my breeding program.
The rest is history! I remain a "terrier person" to the core, and everything about these little white dogs is embedded in my heart.
There is now a long line of families with Foxwillow Terriers completing their lives. My commitment is not only to producing a genetically and temperamentally sound Terrier, but also to remaining in contact with their owners, and being a resource person for the life of each of those puppies. Of course, as a breeder I screen prospective owners to make sure they are a good match for the breed, instead of "taking a chance" that it will be a perfect fit like it was for me!
